GUILD OF ST. PATRICK'S

Through their countless volunteer hours and love of St. Patrick’s, The Guild of St. Patrick’s has generated over $800,000 through the years to support the Carmelite Sisters' Mission of serving the aged and infirm. The Guild formed in the late 1970’s when St. Patrick’s was located in Joliet, Illinois. The three main fundraisers sponsored by the Guild of St. Patrick’s includes the operation of the Gift Shop, the St. Patrick's Day Mystery Box Drawing and co-sponsorship of The Gold Key Gala. The Guild’s fundraising efforts are strong and today they contribute over $50,000 annually. What’s unique is the number of charter members who continue to be active today, a true testament to the commitment to the Carmelite Sisters.

Extra Hands and Hearts

As families, who frequently visit with their loved ones, many Guild members know firsthand the needs of the staff to provide the best care possible to the residents. The Guild works closely with the Sisters and staff to identify what areas of the house are in need of extra assistance. It is for these special needs of staff and residents for which the funds are utilized. The Guild provides extra hearts, hands and finances to complement the care and dedication given by the Sisters and staff. The Guild meets the first Wednesday of the month at 5:00 p.m. at St. Patrick's. To contact us to receive more information on becoming a Guild member, please fill out the form on this page.
